And here are pictures from the Turku Modern festival which do not feature Kompleksi - or anyone else for that matter, since I'm just shamelessly wallowing in bright colours here. I took some 150 pictures, so a modicum of critical restraint did go into the choices here...

Kompleksi

Pictures from a gig by Kompleksi, an 'eclectro' band run by Mike Not, Everhad and Mr. Phinnweb Erkki Rautio. I find it difficult to pin down why I like them, but everything else that night at Turku Modern sounded trivial after this. Besides, the Phinnweb page and mailing list was my entry point into the Finnish underground. My life had been fairly pointless for a decade until I typed "Helsinki underground music" into Google in 2002.
