Pictures from a gig by Kompleksi, an 'eclectro' band run by Mike Not, Everhad and Mr. Phinnweb Erkki Rautio. I find it difficult to pin down why I like them, but everything else that night at Turku Modern sounded trivial after this. Besides, the Phinnweb page and mailing list was my entry point into the Finnish underground. My life had been fairly pointless for a decade until I typed "Helsinki underground music" into Google in 2002.

Ah, sweet darkness! Stark contrasts and weird colours! How I missed you!

We are getting a hint of darkness at midnight at last. Mömö was remarkably stationary during the ten seconds exposure this required.

Skyscraper

Everybody gone already? Good. But maybe I'll throw in some landscapes to make sure. The one thing I've learned about attention over the years is that it always comes with a kick in the nuts. "We like what you do, but we hate your attitude." Thanks, I love you too.
So I do my best to keep my visibility at a comfortable minimum.
