Two of my aunts celebrated their birthdays, which occasioned a nostalgic visit to the 18th century island church of Merimasku. 6th oldest wooden church in continual use in Finland, we were told. Rather lovely. Wish I knew how the patterning on the walls has come about. Rather overdosed on human company now, so I'll be curled up at home with the cat if you need me...
