Hope it doesn't show in the quality. Long ago, I read a review of a Van Morrison gig. The reviewer said that if he was so cheerful that he actually acknowledged the audience and said hello at the start, you could expect a crappy gig. But when he looked properly pissed off and turned his back, the music would be heavenly.
