I might be just a wise guy who is trying to parlay a series of variations on the Trollface meme into high art. But taking something trivial and blowing it out of proportion is an old modern art trope, too. Roy Liechtenstein, Andy Warhol, Jeff Koons. Art has never actually recovered its sanity since Dadaism blew its brains out.
