Thought crime

Interesting. It appears that we are entering an age in which just drawing heinous acts and owning these drawings is considered a crime, according to this BBC news item, at least in Australia. And there I was planning to reread Nabokov's Lolita. But perhaps having that one in the house would not be safe for me, since many people seem quite set on regarding all men past 40 as slimy monsters.
